TOPIC: what I think

what I think 1 year 2 months ago #9005

my starting point is infinity.

my human brain cannot understand "always", but it seems logical to me, because the alternative seems illogical.

the greatest thing in my lifetime, so far,is the picture of the Hubble deep field. this is looking back approximately thirteen billion years.

scientist are as sure of their calculations of this distance as you are sure your cell phone will work when you turn it on.

13,000,000,000 years is very hard to grasp. so if it is represented by a line one mile long it is easier to understand.

so now one mile is 13,000,000,000 years. if we are at the beginning of this one mile line, going way down 1/64 of one inch
is 3,206 years. put your thumb and forefinger and make a 1/64 gap, that is 3,206 years of the 5280 foot mile!

hi jesus how are you?
good,what's going on?
well I was talking to dad and he said that I should lay of the miracles, and talk down to earth to you guys.
he said basic stuff might be of more interest to you. like:
don't hurt other humans
basic sanitation
food growing,preserving and preparation
local language ok, but also universal language.
education for everyone
recording of knowledge
need for self control
basic government with living laws

etc etc etc

I don't think there is an end, to me most likely there are an infinite number of "big bangs"

so I go out on a clear night and look up and say:" my little brain sure doesn't understand it all,but thank you infinity",

I'm thankful for this passage and awareness.
